I have just returned from a week in London, and while using my cine camera (Sankyo 620,with Kowa 8z) two young lads aproached me both with super 8 cameras, one a Canon 1014xls,and the other a Sankyo silent camera, they said they were filming for a documentary, for the BBC. We had a quick chat about the gauge and they left, if they were who they claimed it shows how highly this little film gauge is rated, they said their work was for transfering.

Sorry, (not) but this is still funny.
And bravo to the PBS gents for having the guts to shoot Super-8mm!
Frank, your post just inspired me!
